Just had a conversation with someone at work:
Her: "So I hear you're expecting! Congratulations!"
Me: "Thanks!"
Her: "When are you due?"
Me: "Two weeks."
Her: "HOLY SHIT!"
Heeheehee. She then called me a "stealth mama" and said she had thought I would be due in June or July or something like that.
It took me a couple of minutes to stop laughing.

ReplyDeleteYeah, some people pop out so much, it's like the bump is almost a whole new appendage, and some of us just kind of look...bigger around the middle. I was the second kind, and encountered that same reaction: People eyeballing my belly..."oh, when are you due?" Me: "In three days."
