In addition to acquiring things for the baby, we've been researching names, mulling over them, throwing ideas back and forth, and we may now have settled on our favorite names for our boy or girl. We don't want to know the sex until the birth, so we're following two tracks in most things.
We won't be releasing any chosen names until after the birth of course, so we have another 20~ish weeks to mull over these ones, and be sure we like them.
Good plan. Just spring the name on people when it's too late to change it. I had picked out Madeleine for my 2nd (as the girl option,) when--in the midst of my labor--Jeff said his mother doesn't like that name. So we went with option #2, Rebecca. Not that I'm sorry, but it's a good cautionary tale.
ReplyDeleteI have had friends ask me for suggestions, only to have other friends tell them "You don't want HER opinions. She has a son named FINBAR" lol. ;)
