Six weeks today.
Fifteen days ago, I discovered I was pregnant again. Those fifteen days have taken an eternity to go by.
Nine hundred and sixty-eight days ago, I was six weeks pregnant for the first time. That day, I started spotting. Two days later I miscarried. There was no baby - it was a "blighted ovum", literally a bad egg. Just a sac.
Is this egg a "good egg"?
How can fifteen days go so slowly, and nearly a thousand still seem like such a short time ago?
It'll be at least another two weeks before I go for any scans. I may wait till the tenth week. Quinn was still alive at eight weeks, so a positive scan at eight weeks doesn't prove anything to us anymore.
